Men, there is a battle raging in our culture. With the internet at our fingertips, it has never been more difficult for men to walk with integrity in their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships with women. Pornography poses a dire threat to every aspect of our responsibilities as Christian men. Any form of sexual immorality impairs our ability to function as God has designed us in our role as the providers, protectors, and leaders of our families. Pornography and other sexual sin can destroy the lives and marriages of those ensnared in it.

At Candlelight, we are committed to providing help. We believe that all men are responsible for educating themselves about true Biblical sexuality.  Our Conquer program, a 12-week video-based series, aims to disciple and assist men as they find healing and freedom through God’s grace from the bond of sexual sin.

Our next Conquer series begins Friday, January 12 @ 6:30 pm in the upstairs chapel.  Join us and find freedom and healing alongside your brothers in a safe, confidential, judgment-free setting.

“A Pinch of Leaven”

March 17th – All 4 Services

“When I saw the overwhelming facts which destroy Darwinism and ‘millions of years’ beliefs, combined with the facts which support the biblical accounts of creation and the global flood, I realized that I, and billions of others, had been fooled.” - Russ

We are excited to announce that Russ Miller, a Young Earth Creationist, will be our guest speaker on March 17th for all services.  His desire is to confirm Biblical Truth and expose misinterpretations of God’s creation in order to exalt Jesus Christ as our Creator, Judge and redeeming Savior.  Don’t miss his powerful message!

April 21st – All 4 Services

Speaker for Reasons for Hope, Inc. www.rforh.com/.  Reasons for Hope takes a three-pronged approach to globally communicate its message of the hope found only in Jesus Christ and its mission of equipping, empowering and encouraging believers in their faith.

Meet Frank

As a young person Frank always struggled with “authority,” and wanted to know WHY he needed to do what he was told to do, especially when it came to organized religion. That changed when someone at a Bible study gave him a copy of Josh McDowell’s book, “Evidence That Demands A Verdict.” The fact that someone was able to systematically and logically validate the truth claims of the Bible is one of the things that led him to place his faith in Jesus Christ.

Frank’s goal is to be able to reach the skeptics like his previous self by being able to share with them that God is a God of design, order and logic. He enjoys having conversations with people about things that are true. Sharing God’s truths in a proper and understandable way is one of his greatest joys.
