The mission of the Assisting Pastor of Candlelight Christian Fellowship is to assist the pastor through communication of the good news of God’s grace, to all men, through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to equip believers through the literal interpretation of the Scriptures by the power of the Holy Spirit, through an expositional, pre-millennial, pre-tribulational, dispensational hermeneutic. It is the mission of Candlelight Fellowship staff, leadership team members, and individual members to make every effort to emulate the New Testament model of Church leadership.
AS AN INDIVIDUAL LEADER
The Assisting Pastor is to understand “What We Believe” to equip saints for the work of the ministry. About Candlelight Christian Fellowship:
Candlelight is a mature church that puts great emphasis on grace. We highlight the cross of Christ as the complete and finished work of redemption, justification, sanctification and glorification. We desire that those who apply for employment be conservative biblically and politically. We do not avoid tough topics and are willing to take a stand on social and political issues related to the teachings of the Bible.
Candlelight is a teaching church and as such is not “seeker-driven.” We equip the saints for ministry in the community and around the world. Our teaching comes from a strong dispensational view of Scripture. Those who apply should be committed to learning and growing in dispensational interpretation.
The Mission of Candlelight is to communicate the good news of God's grace, to all men, through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ and to equip believers through the literal interpretation of the Scriptures by the power of the Holy Spirit, through an expositional, pre-millennial, pre-tribulational, dispensational hermeneutic. We purpose to teach and train believers to be men and women who worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth. We desire to see all whom we serve firmly established in the faith, able to defend the truth and engaged in the work of ministry. Candlelight is a body of believers gathering together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to worship Him, to be instructed in His Word, to grow in our love for one another, and to be equipped for the work of the ministry. We intend to share the good news of Jesus Christ and declare the Gospel to all men, both at home and abroad.
