Christmas Parties for Isolated & Lonely Seniors in our Community!

Silver Angels for the Elderly (SAFE) will be providing Christmas gifts to 2 elder care facilities in our community to let them know that God loves them and so does Candlelight!  We appreciate your help by providing needed items so they can enjoy a Christmas blessing.

NEW not used items needed:  Slippers, Socks, Activity Books, colored pencils and pens, crayons, twin size blankets, stuffed animals, lotion, chap stick, Seattle Seahawks items

Drop off items in the lobby by Dec 11th!

Operation Christmas Child

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Every year Candlelight has the privilege of participating in Operation Christmas Child. A special emphasis is made on ministering the love of Jesus Christ by providing shoe box gifts and presents to needy children all around the world, who would otherwise never know the joy of receiving gifts at Christmas time.

Bible Basics Sunday Class

Classes are Full – new classes will begin 1st quarter of 2023

Place: Room 202 (upstairs)

Dates: Sept. 18th thru Dec 4th

The Bible Basics Sunday Class will cover the Old Testament through the biblical stories leading to Christ in the New Testament. This class is great for anyone wanting to know the concept of salvation and how the blood sacrifice of Christ fulfills what is needed for sinful man. Whether you are new to the bible or have been in the Word for a while, this class is great for everyone!

Family Issues Bible Class

Sunday, November 20th, 2022 - 10:30 AM

Our Family Issues Bible Class is led by our pastors, that use verse by verse Bible study to directly address the difficult problems that affect marriage, parenting, relationships and communication. This marriage/family/parenting/relationships Bible class will explain and train Candlelight adults in our church’s philosophy of ministry pertaining to these issues. Monthly topics will be discussed. Ok to join anytime!

Join us for a fun time skating and fellowship at our very own skating rink, Skate Plaza!  We are opening the skating rink for Candlelight families every Sunday!  No cost for admission & skating.  Skating is great for kids, teenagers, adults, parents and grandparents and it’s a great exercise for all!

Awana Youth Ministries – Trek and Journey

Sunday, November 20th, 2022 - 6:00 PM to 8:15 PM

AWANA is designed to provide physical, social, mental, and spiritual activities for children. It’s a great way to develop new friends, and learn how the Bible relates to today’s needs. The goal is to introduce boys and girls to Jesus Christ, and reinforce the life principles found in the Bible.

Trek: Middle School – 6th through 8th grade
Journey: High School – 9th through 12th grade
